These rugs are based on antique knotted works of art. The material used for the pile is carefully chosen, rich, hand-spun sheep's wool coloured with natural dyes. These rugs are made solely by Afghans in northern Afghanistan and in the so-called Tribal Areas of north-western Pakistan.
